House in Syros Island

A cube of maximum allowed volume and measurements of 9m x 8m x 7,5m is placed on the plot. Two volumes are extracted from the cube's body to achieve long views and to host summer activities. These courtyards offer benefits of sun, air and privacy equivalent to atriums of larger scale buildings. In addition a smooth transition from the inner private space to the outdoor one and subsequently to outdoor public space is achieved.
