AMALGAM - Book and Blues House

The Book and Blues House is a communal library, with a cultural center devoted to Blues music. The shape of the building derives from an amalgam of influences such as the old industrial epoch of the city and early modernists buildings. We suggested a holistic approach to a set of complex programmatic relations. Instead of dividing the building into boxes, the different functions blend together in a flowing space.
