Athens Shrinking

Athens Shrinking is an urban speculative research project, based on the 'urban shrinking' phenomenon. It explores the underlying potential of the current decadence of the city. The large amount of abandoned buildings could be the context of a new strategy to rejuvenate Athens by gradually merging the concept of architectural ruins and the process of nature reclaiming its place in the urban fabric.
